The Younger Brother Shows the Way

I was very skeptical before downloading this add-on for New Super Mario Bros U. Truth be told I’ve been a loyal Mario fan but I’ve grown a bit tired, it seems like it’s always the same thing over and over again. It’s fun but getting repetitive. Difficulty wise, in the last few years, Mario platformers have been easy to finish, trying to reach out to a larger audience… That’s probably why some people were getting fed up; there was a lack of challenge.

It seems that with this add-on, Nintendo is trying to set things straight. Though the levels are short, they are a challenge! You need to be quick, you only have 100 seconds to finish the level, you don’t have a checkpoint flag this time and you have to have a good coordination between running and jumping if you want to finish the level on time and alive!

The year of Luigi brings us this great game; this is how it’s supposed to be done. Thank you Luigi for bringing me back the thrill of playing old school Mario games!
